So this week has been pretty busy~
Tueday was luckily a short day and so it was lectures and lunch with the awesome foursome. Thai for $6! Who could complain about that? =D It tasted good enough, although thai is all started to taste the same now! Nothing thus far beats 'Spice I am'~ Wednesday was the first micro practical with Pri-dog~ Thursday was a most hectic day T_T 8am-5pm ~ boooo he day wasnt too bad except for PHSI prac which is a just a pain in my behind right now!
Today I had the one phis lect in the morning and then the masive four hour break T_T Luckily it was spent with lots of good friends, including my regular friday buddy jenjen! Oey was suppose to come see us but he was tired and came in the afternoon. Still havent seen oey =( Anyway bio practical was pretty boring as usual~ but lucky bio friends are always good to chat with! Dissected a seastar for the while prac, and left before 4 which was great! Waited for honey to finish and then we headed for a stroll to the city just to spend time together. This week has been eventful to say the least. I've seen my friends more to create a better balance! It's working fine so far and me and kev are stil as good as ever. Hooray! I wanted to bake tonight but after cleaning my room, my study area and doing some chores i was way to tired! Gonna bake some thumbprint cookies with lienny on sunday if we have the time =)
Just moments ago I had a strange moment of reflection. We have a cabinent with photos on display; school photos, photos from family events and various other moments. One photo didn't look familiar, it's of me and Bao in primary school. One of those sibling photos your parents make you take because they want to send them overseas. First and foremost, we were pretty cute and Baobao looks like a baby monkey! =P It made me reminisce about the simpler days, where playing tag and doing fractions where the only things on our minds. Decisions weren't hard then, they were made for us by our parents and we never questioned their judgement. Money and material goods were not the centre of our worlds. Not to say that we are consumed by goods and services now, but money is something that is on our minds as we mature. Now our ambitions and goals in life can be turned into a reality through our hard work and perseverence. The future is in our hands now and it's up to us to make it happen. I sure miss when you could buy your lunch and more with a whole $2, and scrape your knees without the fear of broken bones and permament scars. But I'm glad life's moving forward, albeit at rate that is much too fast for my liking. The point of this random word vomit is..... I forgot.
LOL here's the photo~ the quality is pretty bad but boo who cares! ( LOL I can see myself in the reflection)
Love, chauchau
p.s Pri's birthday tmrw~ Yay awesome lunch and cake party ! hope she loves it!
